Description
The Texas Christian University football team has made several changes to the line this off season. After numerous promotions and demotions, these seven boys will open the season as the starting line against Tulsa on Saturday. The are left to right Phil Roach (80), Woodrow Adams (70), Leonard Pugh (60), Billy Blackstone (50), Captain Bill Crawford (61), Darrell Palmer (71), and Bruce Alford (83). The Frogs are adopting a new numbering system this season with ends wearing 80's, tackles 70's, guards 60's, and centers 50's. The letterman line is kneeling on the football field, dressed in their uniforms. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, September 23, 1941.
