Description
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cross are producing registered Herefords on their ranch near Troup, Texas. The ranch belonged to Mr. Cross' father, the late Joe Cross. Many of the animals produced on the their ranch have been used as foundation breeding stock in East Texas and Louisiana. A bull from the Cross heard was champion Hereford at the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show a few years earlier. Mr. Cross is dressed in a cowboy hat and a double breasted suit. Mrs. Cross is wearing a hat and a button-up dress with a lace design on the sleeves and collar. She is carrying a jacket, book, newspaper, and her purse.
