Description
Operating a field telephone private branch exchange (PBX) board are Private First Class Roy L. Hiser (left) of Fort Worth, Texas, and Private First Class Oscar Ellard, of Mansfield, Texas. The men are setting up their own telephone network. Private Ellard is sitting in front of the PBX board as he and Private Hiser operate it together. Both men are wearing military uniforms and Private Ellard is also wearing a headset that is attached to the board. Around them are leaves and branches from trees.
