Description
Some of the 142nd Infantry prisoners captured by a Red Army advance during a military training exercise at Camp Bowie. They are, left to right, Private Major Fitts, of Port Arthur, Texas, Private Roymond Harris, Private Ray Green, Private Wallace Richards and Private John White, all of Amarillo, Texas. They are from Company H, the Second Battalion's heavy weapons outfit. The men are standing outside, wearing their military uniforms.
