Stamford Rotarians traveled 247 miles and visited 16 towns last week, to invite West Texas attendance at the Texas Cowboy Reunion in Stamford Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Calvin Whitaker, president of the Throckmorton Chamber of Commerce, John Banks, county attorney at Throckmorton and Leroy Johnson, head of the ticket sales committee of the Stamford rodeo. All men are standing next to each other, wearing hats. Leroy is wearing a scarf, shirt and suspender pants. There are automobiles in the background.
