Description
When Mr. and Mrs. Mans Hoggett of Mertzon started to gather rocks from their ranch property to build a home, friends in all parts of the country wanted to contribute to the collection. Soon huge rocks started rolling in. Today, a beautifully constructed home is the result. The home, located in Mertzon, is a long structure that has a screened-in porch, living room, dining room, three bedrooms, kitchen, den and two bathsâ€â€and all conveniences found in the city home. Mrs. Mans Hoggett arranges flowers on a center table in the spacious living room. On the right side of Mrs. Hoggett are a secretary desk, small wicker chair (in front of the desk). Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Sunday Edition May 11, 1941.
