Papenfoth, commander of a searchlight battalion from Camp Hulen, as the convoy arrived in San Angelo, Texas, for training. The two men standing next to each other with their hands behind their back. Mr. Deal is wearing a striped, double-breasted suit with a striped tie and a brimmed hat. Major Papenfoth is wearing a military uniform and a small cap. He is also wearing eyeglasses.
