Description

Mrs. C. K. Brantley is running through a first day of school dress rehearsal with her children. Eight children in all, six are of school age. Mrs. Brantley has the children trained to dress for school in twenty minutes. The children are ready for school and standing on the front porch. They are Carl (thirteen), Homer (twelve), Vera (nine), Geraldine (eight), Billy Jo (seven), and Lester Julius (five). Mary Alice (four), is at the far right holding her brother Homer's hand. Mrs. Brantley is holding her two year old daughter, Lillian Joyce.
