Three members of the Medical detachment of One Hundred Forty-second Infantry are pictured here. They are, left to right, First Lieutenant (Lieut.) Van S. Parmley, Second Lieutenant (Lieut.) Clyde L. Martin and Staff Sergeant (Sergt.) A. Frank Fisher. All are wearing uniforms. They are chatting in front of the National Guard armory at Electra and leaning on old 75mm gun, dismantled. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, December 8, 1940.
