The Second Annual Auction Sale of the Central Texas Hereford Breeders' Association was held at Belton, Texas on November 1, attracted many persons interested in the livestock industry. Shown here are Hereford Breeders Association tour participant ranchers (left to right) Mr. and Mrs. David Bywaters, Hamilton, Texas; E. R. Lawrence County agent at Meridian, Texas and Hereford breeder Jack Cureton, Meridian, Texas. They appear to be having a conversation. The men are wearing suits and hats, Mrs. Bywaters is wearing a long sleeve dress and a hat. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 3, 1940.
