The Second Annual Auction Sale of the Central Texas Hereford Breeders' Association was held at Belton, Texas on November 1, attracted many persons interested in the livestock industry. Shown here are Hereford Breeders Association tour participants and vocational agriculture boys at Belton High School (left to right), H. C. Carothers who is feeding sheep; Billy Hill, feeding lambs; Doyle Huey, feeding two Hereford calves; Clint House, feeding poultry and their advisor, Hubert Martin. The boys, members of Belton Future Farmers are learning all they can from the cattle and cattlemen present. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 3, 1940.
