Description
Hale Center Hogs That Won at State Fair - Three of the Chester White hogs with which E. D. Heath & Sons of Hale Center practically swept the Chester White division of the State Fair of Texas hog show at Dallas last week. Blue Ribbon Girl, senior champion sow of the Chester White breed at the fair is pictured here. The man with the Blue Ribbon Girl is Aaron Gritzmaker, of Gritzmaker Brothers of Lahoma, Oklahoma, new owners of the entire Heath show herd which was sold to them at the conclusion of the state fair judging. Mr. Gritzmaker is patting the sow. He is dressed in a tilted hat, button-up shirt, and trousers. There are cars parked in the background.
