    Mrs. George Degenhart learned how to can food when she moved to the country, near Euless, twenty years earlier. Unsure at first, she found the canning work to be surprisingly easy. She is demonstrating the process in her kitchen. A large pot is on the stove and Mrs. Degenhart is holding a jar of beans. She is wearing a patterned dress.
