Preparing for the 11th annual Pecos, Texas, rodeo are, left to right, Joan Stokes, Mrs. Norman Eisenwine, Mrs. Whit Waide and Mrs. Katherine Braughton. They are mounted on horses. Miss Stokes is wearing a long-sleeve blouse, a necktie, trousers, cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. Mrs. Eisenwine is wearing a long-sleeve blouse, a vest, trousers and a cowboy hat. Mrs. Waide is wearing a short-sleeve blouse, trousers and a cowboy hat. Mrs. Braughton is wearing a plaid print blouse, trousers and cowboy boots.
