Shown here are early arrivals at the Texas Press Association (TPA) convention at Mineral Wells, Texas. They are Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fore Junior of Floresville, Texas. They have missed only one TPA convention in 25 years. They are outside, walking up a set of stairs. Mrs. Fore is wearing a striped dress belted at the waist and is holding a handbag in her left hand. Mr. Fore is wearing a dark colored suit, hat and eyeglasses and is smoking a cigar. There are automobiles on the road in the background.
