Among the thousands who attended the West Texas Chamber of Commerce convention at Big Spring, Texas, were, left to right, Mrs. Audrey Gent, Mr. Audrey Gent, Mrs. Ed L. Jay, and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Starns, of Abilene, Texas. Mrs. Gent is wearing a short-sleeve dress with ruffles along the neckline and a hat. She has a handbag tucked under her left arm. Mr. Gent is wearing a suit, a hat and eyeglasses. Mrs. Jay is wearing a short-sleeve dress with a crochet collar and a hat. Mr. Starns is wearing a suit and a hat with a band around it that says "Abilene." Mrs. Starns is wearing a dress and a hat with a band around it that says "Abilene." She is carrying a handbag.
