Some of the women from Big Spring, Texas, who will be sponsoring and providing entertainment during the annual West Texas Chamber of Commerce convention, to be held at Big Spring, Texas, on May 16, 17 and 18, 1940. They are, left to right, Dorothy Lee Bassett, Mrs. H. R. Haygood Junior, Evelyn McCurdy and Helen Duley. They are standing against a a blank wall. Miss Bassett is wearing a long-sleeve, striped dress. Mrs. Haygood is wearing a short-sleeve, two-toned dress and eyeglasses. Miss McCurdy is wearing a dark-colored, short-sleeve dress. Miss Duley is wearing a short-sleeve, striped dress with a belt at the waist, and a necklace.
