Description
Members of the general steering committee who are arranging the annual West Texas Chamber of Commerce (WTCC) convention, to be held at Big Spring, Texas, on May 16, 17 and 18, 1940. The members are, left to right, R. W. Whipkey, Grover C. Dunham, WTCC director from Big Spring, Texas, J. H. Green, Big Spring Chamber of Commerce manager, Ted O. Groebl and Edmond Notestine. Green is sitting at a desk, writing on a sheet of paper, while the other men are standing behind him. On the desk are several documents, including a newspaper. Whipkey is wearing a three-piece suit. Dunham is wearing a suit, a plaid necktie and eyeglasses. Green is wearing a three-piece suit and eyeglasses. Groebl is wearing a three-piece suit with a handkerchief in the jacket breast pocket. Notestine is wearing a long-sleeve, collared shirt, a plaid necktie, trousers and eyeglasses.
