Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show. Amon Carter buying Southdown lamb for John Nance Garner, from Billy Rodgers of Lubbock, owner of the prize winning lamb. Amon Carter is kneeling beside Billy Rodgers who is holding the neck of the lamb. The lamb is in front of both of them and has two ribbons attached to its back. They are in front of a bare wall and two wooden doors. Anon Carter is wearing a suit and tie with hat while Billy is wearing a collared shirt with pants and a hat.
