Here are some of the prize-winning beeves in the 1940 South Plains Junior Fat Stock Show held at Lubbock; March 25-27, 1940. Shown here in the picture are a man and a boy with a calf. First prize junior calf and reserve champion of the show, exhibited by Billy Snyder, 4-H Club boy of Martin County, with county agent G. A. Bond Junior.
