An auction for John B. Stribling & Son's hereford is being held at the Stribling Ranch near Rotan, Texas. Pictured are a pair of calves that arrived on the ranch a year earlier. On a sign above their pen are the words "The greatest pair of calves we ever bred or owned". Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 6, 1940.
