Description

An auction for John B. Stribling & Son's herefords is being held at the Stribling Ranch. Some of the earlier arrivals to the ranch near Rotan, Texas are left to right, Miss Wanette Hart and Mrs. J. B. Strahorn. Miss Hart is from Abilene, Texas. She is wearing a hat, fur coat and gloves. Mrs. Strahorn, of Rotan, is dressed in a hat, dress, and coat. The interest in fine cattle is not confined to the ranchmen of Texas, as these women study the sales catalog. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 6, 1940.
