    Description

    Students in Fort Worth, Texas public schools are no longer dragging their feet when it comes to dancing in physical education classes. Students from Riverside High School are performing the Ten Pretty Girls Step. The are left to right, Onieta Ore, Ben O. Keeton, Billie Hodges, Jack James, Glydeen Butterfield, Lorayne Griffin, Frankie Bess Williams, and Ben Reeves. The group is standing in a line with their arms linked and their right legs raised. The boys are dressed in suits and the girls are wearing gowns. They are dancing outdoors. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 4, 1940.
