Gerald Mann, Texas Attorney General. Clipping: Mann Hits at Usury and Anti-Trust Law Violators. Jaycees Hear Promise by Young Attorney General to Continue Prosecutions. Continued prosecutions of anti-trust and usury cases and further efforts by his department to establish the unconstitutionality of tax remission laws will be among his first consideration in the future. Attorney General Mann told the Junior Chamber of Commerce at the organization's weekly luncheon Wednesday at the Blackstone Hotel. The speaker was introduced by Ward Bailey, president of the Junior Chamber. Also present were two assistants attorney general, Morris Hodges and Lloyd Armstrong, who were here on vacations.
