    Description

    Two farmers from the Oklahoma side near Denison and Bonham showed a stalk or corn standing at 16.5 feet tall at the Livestock Exchange Building in Fort Worth, Texas. The farmers are O. L. Castleberry, left and L. L. Shores. Mr. Castleberry is over 6 feet, 6 inches himself. The men are shown with the standing stalk, there are several men looking on. This photograph was published in the August 29, 1940 evening edition of the Star-Telegram.
