Description
North Side High School vs. Polytechnic High School basketball game with Ray Lowe and Ben Thompkins. In the picture, Lowe (5) dribbles ball with his left hand around Thompkins (38) headed for a Steer goal in the championship game. There are other unidentified players on the court and all players are wearing their school's jersey, socks with sneakers and some have knee pads. Polytechnic won, 40-34. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 17, 1948.
