Description
Amon Carter Riverside High School vs. Paschal High School basketball game with Aubrey Phillips, O.A Ryfle, and Jimmy Shelton. Paschal's Phillips comes down with the ball after a scramble with his teammate Ryfle. Riverside's Shelton (12) tries to grab ball from behind Phillips. There are other unidentified players on the court. The players are in front of the basketball net and are all wearing their school's jersey with pop socks and sneakers while some players have knee pads. Carter Riverside won, 33-31. The gymnasium has brick walls and divided-lite windows. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 13, 1948.
