Arlington Heights High School vs. Polytechnic High School basketball game with Poly's Luther Scarborough(3), Arlington Heights' Bob Thomas, left, Buddy Wise (4), and Bill Gault, behind Wise. The players battle for loose ball and are shoving and leaping to reach it in the first half of their game. There are other unidentified players on the court. All the players are wearing their school's jersey, socks and sneakers while some have knee pads. The Arlington Heights won the game, 38-30. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, January 29, 1948.
