Abilene Christian College vs. Texas Wesleyan College (TWC) basketball game with Abilene's Ted Nicksick (right) and Bill Grounds. In the picture, Nicksick has his hands on the backboard of the net while Grounds has his left hand on Nicksick's shoulder and his other hand stretched upwards, both waiting for rebound. All the players are wearing their respective school jersey, knee pads, sneakers and socks. The TWC Rams won, 63-43. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, January 17, 1948.
