Description
18th Annual Golden Deeds Banquet held in honor of Lena Pope. Mrs. Pope was honored by the Fort Worth Exchange Club as the city's outstanding citizens of 1946. She is seen standing at a podium, speaking to the crowd at the banquet, held at the Fort Worth Club. Amon G. Carter is seen seated just behind her. Mrs. Pope is president and supervising head of the Lena Pope Home for children.
