Description
18th Annual Golden Deeds Banquet held in honor of Lena Pope. Mrs. Pope was honored by the Fort Worth Exchange Club as the city's outstanding citizens of 1946. She is receiving, from Fort Worth Mayor Edgar Deen, the club president, a scroll signed by 400 club members and guests who attended the banquet, held at the Fort Worth Club. Mrs. Pope is president and supervising head of the Lena Pope Home for children.
