Description
Gusts of wind nearly toppled this tree into the kitchen of Mrs. M. B. Fry, 416 Alston, Fort Worth, Texas who was working in the room at the time. Weakened by tree surgery, this giant hackberry fell. In the picture is a toppled tree that has parts of its branch fallen and its base almost totally uprooted. The tree stood on the adjoining lot at 412 Alston. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 18, 1947.
