Fort Worth teacher Mrs. Blanche Griffith receiving a life insurance policy award certificate from Ed P. Williams, schools business manager. Mrs. Griffith is wearing a dress and has a bow on the side of her hair while Mr. William is wearing a suit and tie with a square framed glasses. Fort Worth's Board of Education announced that 1,800 teachers and school employees each will be given a $1000 life insurance policy. Mrs. Griffith, a teacher of art and fourth grade, is looking at the certificate and smiling. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 27, 1947.
