O. L. Killian, retired as head of the biology department at North Texas Agricultural College (NTAC) but remained on the faculty as a teacher. In the picture, Killian examines a cross section of corn stem under a microscope. On his desk are different documents and a attached shelf with books. In the background is a window with a view of a trees. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, March 25, 1947.
