Description

The high school 7-AA district championship basketball game is being played Friday at the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Competing in the playoffs are the Paschal Panthers (white jerseys) and the Polytechnic Parrots. The game was tied at the end of the fourth quarter and proceeding into overtime. Norman Hughes (17) put the Panthers ahead 29-27 with this disputed shot. Parrots Bill Elliot (40) and Luther Scarborough (30) are attempting to block the effort. Hughes later added a free throw, winning the game 30-29.
