Description

The high school 7-AA district championship basketball game is being played Friday at the Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Competing in the playoffs are the Paschal Panthers (white jerseys) and the Polytechnic Parrots. In the fourth quarter of the game Panther, Norman Hughes (17) is shown breaking around Parrot defender Luther Scarborough (30). Also pictured are Parrot Ed Thomas (39) and Panter Ernie Vossler (15). The Panthers went on to win the game 30-29 after a disputed overtime call.
