Joyce Collett is spending her sixth birthday delivering "get well" cards to her brother, Charles Collett, in the hospital. Charles, 16, has spent three months at Saint Joseph's Hospital. He is recovering from a serious automobile accident that occurred on November 18, 1946. Charles is shown lying in bed with a cast on his left leg and his upper right leg. Joyce is sitting on her brother's bed wearing a polka-dot dress.
