Description
Four players from the 1946 State Champion Odessa High School football team are stopping in Fort Worth, Texas. They are en route to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where they will tour the Louisiana State University campus. Pictured left to right, are H. L. "Sonny" Holderman, Pat Evitt, Herman Foster and Hayden Fry. Sonny is dressed in a checkered button-up shirt and trousers. Evitt is wearing a collared shirt, leather jacket, and jeans. Foster is dressed in a sweater, blazer, and trousers. Fry is the star quarterback of the team. He is wearing a plaid button-up shirt, jeans, and a leather jacket. The Odessa Bronchos were perfect on the season, committing no turnovers and going undefeated.
