Description
Hemphill Presbyterian Church choir will present the cantata, "Ruth." The soloists and director of the cantata are, left to right, O. S. Lattimore III, 19, baritone, singing the part of Boaz; Marian Christie, 20, soprano, singing the part of Orpah; Ella Ray Moore, 15, soprano, singing the part of Ruth; Ruth Christie (twin sister of Marian), mezzo soprano, who will be Naomi; and Sam S. Losh, organist-director. They are wearing their choir robes. A chorus of 30 will sing. The cantata, written by A. R. Gaul, will replace the usual sermon by Reverend J. Hoytt Boles, who is conducted a revival at his former pastorate.
