Demobilization of 27th Battalion of the Texas State Guard. Major Orson E. Paxton (right) presenting gifts to Lieutenant Colonel Marshall H. Kennady and Lieutenant Colonel C. G. Fox. Major Paxton is shown presenting a fly rod and fishing tackle to Kennady and a wrist watch to Fox. The trio of men are dressed in military uniform and Fox is also wearing a pair of eyeglasses. Paxton holds up a box filled with various fishing tackles and appears to be handing it over to Kennady, who looks on happily. Fox holds up his watch, who's case is open.
