Description
The Texas State high school final game is being played Saturday, December 28, 1946 in Austin, Texas. Competing for the State Championship are the Odessa Bronchos and the Jefferson Mustangs of San Antonio, Texas. Two unidentified men are standing in an office. One man probably a referee in the championship game, is dressed in a button-up shirt and trousers. He is packing a shirt into a duffle bag. The shirt matches those worn by referees. The other man is dressed in a dark suit. The Odessa Bronchos went on to beat the Mustangs, winning the 1946 State Championship 21-14.
