Description
Texas National Guard maneuvers in Louisiana. Mechanization of military forces hasn't affected the accuracy of the old axiom about how an army travels. But the job of supplying thousands of hungry soldiers with plenty of substantial food is well organized. Supervising the cooking of meat for the midday mess is First Cook Joe Livingston of Company L, One Hundred and Forty-second Infantry. He is from Breckenridge, Texas.
