Description
Texas National Guard maneuvers in Louisiana. An army, says the military legend, is only as efficient as its communications system. Here Private Merritt Keel, left, and Captain J. Frank Hobbs, First Battalion Headquarters Company from Abilene, are issuing orders to Thirty-sixth Division troops in Louisiana by means of a field radio. Both men are seen bent down on one knee as they set up equipment on the ground.
