Description
The Odessa High School football team will face off against the Jefferson Mustangs (San Antonio, Texas) in the Texas State Championship in Austin, Texas. Three key performers in the Bronchos' line left to right are tackle Steve Dowden, guard Harry Pace, and tackle Wayne Jones. They are shown in their starting positions, dressed in their football uniforms. The Odessa Bronchos went on to beat the Mustangs, winning the 1946 State Championship 21-14.
