Description
Pete Kerscher (left) is receiving ownership papers for the airplane he won with a song on a radio program. Presenting the airplane is M. M. Taylor, general manager of Southwest Aircraft Incorporated. Mr. Kerscher is a cowboy and horse wrangler from Dublin, Texas. He is dressed in a cowboy hat, plaid button-up western shirt, trousers, and cowboy boots. Mr. Taylor is dressed in a suit. The airplane is a new Aeronca "Champion". Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition December 08, 1946.
