Description
The bi-district high school match-up between the Mineral Wells Mountaineers (dark jerseys) and the Waco Tigers is being held Saturday in Mineral Wells, Texas. The winner of the game will advance to the quarterfinals. Tiger back Lon Griffith is shown plunging through a pile for Waco's third touchdown of the game. He split Mountaineer defenders Lawrence Cowley, left and Jack McWhorter (31). The Waco Tigers went on to win the game 21-0.
