Description
The Mineral Wells High School football team are the underdogs in the upcoming bi-district game against the Waco Tigers. The Mountaineers starting offense, left to right, are James Glenn (end), Bill Elliston (tackle), John Searcy (guard), Joe Neal (center), Jimmy Long (guard), Norman Barrett (tackle) and Wilson Evans (end). The backs, same order, are Alton Mahan (33), Fine Dews (22), James McWhorter (31), and Duane Grissett (41). The Mountaineers will be competing in the school's first playoff game.
