Description
The practice of bringing lunch from home, via a brown paper bag is demonstrated here by business women from left) Mrs. Mildred Lee, Miss Virginia Hagemeier and Miss Joyce Beyer. They are employees of the Tribune Publishing Company indulging daily in the bring-you-own food idea which is spreading in popularity among business women. In the picture the women are seated beside each other at one end of the table. They are eating sandwiches and talking. On the table, there are brown paper lunch bags and beverage bottles. There is a dark curtain behind them and a pile of crates to one side. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, November 18, 1946.
