Description
The Fort Worth Lions Club is running a Pedestrian Safety Campaign at Texas Wesleyan College. One of the students participating in the campaign is Ruth Garner. She is demonstrating how a bookworm dreamer walks down the street, concerned with almost anything except pedestrian safety rules. Miss Garner is carrying a book, dressed in a plaid blazer, and a matching skirt. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 8, 1946.
