Texas Women's Open golf tournament golfer Betty Jameson, San Antonio, Texas. She is seated on a steps with a golf bag full of golf clubs resting on her lap. She seem to be wiping her brow with a towel. Betty is a semifinalist in the Texas Women's Open at the Colonial and will continue for the championship play Friday afternoon, October 11. The 36-hole final will be played Saturday. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, October 11, 1946.
